What will you do?

As an Automation Engineer, you are responsible for the automation and start‑up of installed systems at our customers’ sites. You are involved throughout the entire process: from configuration and programming to testing, fine‑tuning and user training.

  • Responsible for the automation and start‑up of systems at customer locations
  • Configuring and programming project‑specific functions and processes
  • Testing software and performing calibrations
  • Loading programs and fine‑tuning the software
  • Training and supporting end users
  • Monitoring budgets and delivery timelines
  • Ensuring quality follow‑up and customer satisfaction
  • Providing after‑sales service and remote support within the automation domain
  • Continuously striving to improve the quality of delivered work

What do you bring?

  • A Master’s degree in Electromechanics or a similar field
  • Affinity with automation and electrical engineering
  • Relevant experience is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Strong technical insight and excellent knowledge of PLC machine control and programming
  • Experience with one or more control systems such as Siemens (TIA Portal, Step7), Beckhoff and/or Allen‑Bradley
  • Knowledge of process visualisation via SCADA/HMI
  • Strong learning ability and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously without losing the team spirit
  • A hands‑on mindset, proactive attitude and strong customer focus
  • Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
